Jake's Restaurant Estd. 1960

Built from a 120 year old barn in 1960, Jake's Restaurant became an immediate standby Classic American Steakhouse. Over the last 15 years, Jake Jr. has melded and refined and rustic, vintage and contemporary into Jake's interior space while still preserving its classic roots.  The rustic elegance of the room with the original working fireplace provides for a warm and inviting, comfortable but yet lively dining experience. 

Jake Jr. has elevated the offerings by refreshing the "original" American steakhouse cuisine repertoire by incorporating seasonal ingredients and inventive preparations to traditional dishes.   

 Jake's has taken the same care in its libations by offering artisanal Wisconsin beers, hand crafted seasonal cocktails, and a wine list created with interesting and artisanal winemakers. 

Charred seamlessly melds "the refined and rustic, vintage and contemporary" elements of Jake's .  The room has an easy "chill" elegance that is lit with custom vintage champagne bottles lit with Thomas Edison inspired pendant lights.  Charred is the perfect backdrop for one to have dinner at the bar by themselves or for having an intimate or jovial social gathering.   

We are the " dining place" that people have incorporated into their lifestyle.  Our menus provide guests the chance to  select from snacks to  large plates.

Our beer, wine, and cocktail lists emphasize: artisanal beers from the Midwest,  Jake's Wine Spectator Award Winning Wine List, and hand crafted cocktails made with our original recipes since 1960.
